Masquerade Fundraiser Returns as Simon Youth Foundation and Pacers Foundation Go #AllIn4Kids

KEY POINTS

INDIANAPOLIS – Simon Youth Foundation and the Pacers Foundation are going #AllIn4Kids, bringing back the Masquerade fundraising event with A Night In Vegas at the Fieldhouse on Saturday, October 16, 2021. This year’s event will honor the memory of Shari Simon Greenberg, the longtime Simon executive who passed away in 2020. Simon Greenberg was a relentless advocate for the work of both foundations and one of the event’s yearly organizers.

Masquerade, the city’s premier annual philanthropic event, will feature Vegas-style entertainment, casino games, and dancing. Guests will also get the chance to mingle with Pacers coaches and players during the event. Both Simon Youth Foundation and the Pacers Foundation focus their missions on serving and supporting vulnerable youth, and the Masquerade is one of the principal fundraising events for the two organizations.

“Shari poured her heart and soul into making this event enormously successful and exciting, year after year, because of the immense impact it allows us to have on the lives of so many young people throughout Indiana and the country,” said Deborah Simon, Chair of the Simon Youth Foundation. “We are thrilled to be able to host the Masquerade in person once again, and this will be a spectacular celebration worthy of Shari’s legacy and the incredibly important work of these two Foundations.”

Simon Greenberg’s passion and energy was a driving force in making the Masquerade consistently one of the city’s most exciting and celebrated events. She was a champion for underserved students and a proponent for helping them achieve their full potential through education. Additionally, she was a founding member vice-chair of the Simon Youth Foundation and served on the board of directors for the Pacers Foundation.

Since its inception in 2002, the Masquerade has raised more than $15 million to support the work of the Simon Youth Foundation and the Pacers Foundation. Past honorees include Larry Bird, Tamika Catchings, Bobby “Slick” Leonard, Mitch Daniels, and Reggie Miller.

A limited number of tickets remain. For more information or to support the cause, visit www.SYF.org/masq21.
